Choral Festival Concert - Saturday, October 3 - 7pm
Come hear the glorious music of a massed festival choir, the FCCGE choirs, handbells, brass and percussion right in our own sanctuary! The music ministry of FCCGE is hosting a choral festival on Saturday, October 3rd. A festival choir of singers from several area church choirs will participate in a day-long workshop with guest conductor, Dr. Brad Holmes, from Millikin University. Participating churches include New England Congregational Church of Aurora, Little Home Church by the Wayside of Wayne, Community Presbyterian Church of Clarendon Hills, St. Peter's United Church of Christ of Elmhurst and the First Congregational Church (UCC) of Glen Ellyn. The festival will conclude with a concert in the sanctuary at 7:00pm, with choirs, piano, organ, brass, handbells, percussion and other guest musicians. The concert is open to the public and a freewill offering will be taken.
