Michele Hecht is the Director of the Music Ministry at First Congregational Church. Michele teaches music to people of all ages. She has worked as an elementary general/vocal music teacher, and as a coordinator and guest conductor for choral festivals. She earned her bachelors degree in Music at the University of Illinois, a masters degree from Roosevelt University and studied conducting at the Kodaly Institute in Hungary. Michele enjoys singing professionally; she has performed with the Holy Name Cathedral Singers, Chicago Choral Artists, Voices Chicago, Cincinnati May Festival Chorus and DuPage Opera Theater. 5
