Our Lighting the Way Sunday School program for grades Kindergarten-6th Grade, utilizes the Workshop Rotation Model and emphasizes interactive and experiential learning. Children will experience the same Bible story during a 5-week unit -- each week visiting a different workshop and drawing out a different element of the story.

Lighting the Way participants begin in worship with their families and are dismissed to their workshops after a brief Words with Children. "Keepers" escort the children to a specific workshop and stay with them for the duration of the lesson. Keepers help build positive relationships with older adults while creating a loving, nurturing environment. "Teachers" use age-appropriate lessons to engage the children on a given topic, i.e. the Parable of the Good Samaritan.

Pick up locations are posted each week and listed in the bulletin. We ask that all children are registered in the beginning of the program year. Visitors are always welcome.
